The Finished Bunk Bed

Thanks to a reminder from Joanna, I realized I never posted any pictures of the finished bunk project. So without further ado, here it is:

David used a router to make a groove for the side gates:

You might notice above that there's a piece of wood sandwiched between the sides and top of the bed. David discovered that the gates would scrape the top when they were opened, so he had to boost the top up about a half inch. Now they raise easily.
